AMBytz exists to inform, investigate, and illuminate through constitutionally grounded journalism. We pursue truth without deference to power, expose corruption without fear, and defend the principles of individual liberty, lawful governance, and civic responsibility.

We envision a nation where citizens are informed, engaged, and empowered by truth; where constitutional limits are respected, public servants are accountable, and free people govern themselves with knowledge rather than manipulation.
Editorial standards
What has to be true before we publish
These are not aspirations. They are the conditions a piece must satisfy to run under the AMBytz name.
Right of response
Anyone named in a critical context is contacted before publication and given a real window to respond. If they decline, we say so rather than implying we never asked.
Separation of fact and view
Reported investigations and editorial essays are labelled differently and never blended inside a single piece.
No undisclosed interest
No advertiser, utility, campaign, or party gets advance review or influence over coverage. Any relationship that could look like one is disclosed inside the story.
Source protection
If you ask for anonymity we honour it, and we do not publish detail that would identify you by elimination. Sensitive material should reach us by a channel you control.
We follow the remedy
Publication is the middle of the story. We track the appeal, the revote, the refund, and the resignation — and report when nothing happens at all.
Corrections
We get things wrong in public, and we fix them in public.
A records-first outlet that quietly edits its own archive is worth nothing. So we don’t.
- Substantive errors get a dated correction note at the top of the piece.
- The original wording stays visible; we never silently overwrite it.
- Clarifications that change meaning are logged the same way as errors.
- Every correction says who was affected and what the accurate record shows.
Independence & funding
Reader-supported, and small on purpose
American Bytz Media was founded in 2026 and is registered in Dover, Delaware. It is a small independent operation — not a chain outlet, not a party organ, and not underwritten by the utilities, insurers, or agencies it reports on.
That size is the point. It means nobody upstream can quietly kill a story about a large advertiser, because there isn’t one.

A records-driven piece is not one reporter’s hunch. It is a chain of work, and each link is a distinct discipline.
Records research
Finds and retrieves the primary document — dockets, filings, minutes, public-records requests.
Investigative reporting
Reads the record against the public account, interviews the people affected, and puts the questions to those named.
Editing & verification
Independently re-checks every factual claim against its source before the piece is cleared to run.
Legal review
Reviews anything naming a private party or alleging misconduct, so the reporting holds up under pressure.
Build note for AMBytz — masthead intentionally left unnamed. The live ambytz.com About page currently lists three staff members (“Alex Johnson — Editor-in-Chief”, “Sophia Lee — Senior Analyst”, “Michael Chen — Technology Correspondent”) that appear to be unedited theme placeholders, alongside a placeholder telephone number. For an outlet whose entire promise is verifiability, a fabricated masthead is the single most damaging thing on the site. This build shows the newsroom’s functions instead, and holds a slot for real names, roles, and photographs to be dropped in.
