Contact
Point us at the record.
Rate filings, condemnation notices, HOA votes, settlement agreements, agency emails, board minutes. Tell us what exists and where — a link, a docket or case number, or just what you saw. If it’s a record, it’s a lead. You can ask to be treated as a confidential source, and we’ll honour it.

What do you have for us?
Before you send
How to protect yourself
We take source protection seriously, and there are things only you can control.
- Don’t send anything from a work computer, work email, or work network if the story involves your employer.
- Don’t use a device your employer manages or can inspect.
- If a record is only accessible to a handful of people, tell us — so we can source the same document independently and keep you out of it.
- Ask for confidentiality explicitly. Tick the box above, and we will not publish anything that narrows down who you are.
Public records
Already-public documents
Commission dockets, council packets, court filings, and public-records responses are the backbone of what we publish. There is no risk in pointing us at one — if it’s already public, send the link or the docket number and we’ll pull the rest ourselves.
On sending files: this form takes text only — there is no attachment upload, deliberately, because an unvetted upload path is a liability for you as much as for us. Describe the record and tell us where it lives. If it isn’t public and needs to reach us another way, say so and we’ll arrange a channel before you send anything.
Corrections
Think we got something wrong?
Choose “Reporting a correction” above and tell us which piece, which claim, and what the accurate record shows. Substantive errors get a dated correction note on the story itself — we don’t quietly edit the archive. Read the corrections policy
